Online lecture

  •     The relevance of Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence for the CFO area
  •     Areas of application and concrete use cases
  •     The cultural and organizational dimension
  •     Live demos - Apps in practical use in the Controlling area

Applications from the area of Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence have the potential to significantly improve the CFO area of companies in terms of their competencies. Different concepts such as text analytics and machine learning are used. On the one hand, data can be analyzed using algorithms to answer economically relevant questions, and on the other hand, planning and forecasting can be significantly improved using intelligent analysis methods. We will discuss corresponding use cases to understand how these can be successfully implemented in the CFO area. In order to achieve the full added value, a holistic approach to Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence must be developed in addition to individual and often independent use cases, which especially includes the organizational and cultural dimension. Live demonstrations of applications used in controlling will also be conducted.

As Program Manager Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics in the CFO division of E.ON SE, Bernd Kälber is responsible for the evaluation and implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics applications. Especially in the cross-functional role "Analytics Translator" he is very successful in translating business requirements into analytics applications.
