This unit is responsible for implementing the HHU public engagement strategy, referred to as the Citizens’ University (“Bürgeruniversität”). The main objective of the strategy is to promote dialogue between science and society in a wide variety of ways.
Within the framework of the Citizens’ University, HHU researchers can apply for funding in the areas of research, teaching and science communication. The Public Engagement Unit team would be pleased to advise and support you. In addition, we offer training on various aspects of science communication on a regular basis.
