A white space on the map – a place that can be defined from scratch. In daily challenges during the fifth week of the summer holidays, photos, videos, podcasts, posters, etc. will be produced to determine how we could live together in an ideal way.

The basic idea behind our simulation project: Participants find a previously undiscovered area on earth and are tasked with creating the fictitious state of “FreeLand” there. Everything can and must be defined from scratch. The principal focus is on how the future residents want to live together. In small groups, the participants will consider a new central question every day and at the end of the day present a media product such as a video, podcast, reportage, poster, etc. that addresses that question.

The results of the project week will be presented to the public at the premises of the Akki organisation from 3 p.m. on 9 August 2024. Visitors are invited to record their opinions on our FreeWall, which will also be on display there.
